Motorbikes Free You And The Planet

Everyone is on about how cars' CO2 emission rates are too high to enable smog free cities and a global warming free planet. Only now are they putting some enhanced motors into cars, which have up to 30% less emissions than those before them for the same distance traveled. The only thing is, they cost more...

How about a motorbike? It only uses a fraction of fuel used by cars, is easier to park than any city car and whatnot, and is more pleasurable to drive then them! Only if you have some medical issues that prevent you from enjoying the outdoors constantly while commuting should you say no to motorbiking. Today a vast number of mopeds is made, and there are many models available with electric motor power, to allow for you to go places and not turn people's heads with the noise regular moped motors create. Various styles, various applications, there are motorbikes built for every purpose today. The only thing standard motorbikes and mopeds lack as opposed to the car is safety.

It is absolutely imperative you wear the protective gear when riding a motorbike, as well as your passenger, because without it even the smallest accident can prove fatal. This because you fall over on your head after a head-on collision of any kind. So you must be careful. And drive smart. And always, always wear the helmet. Getting bike insurance for your motorbike is the next thing you should think of, as getting trough the crowds of cars waiting in standstills of overcrowded rush-hours can sometimes get your motorbike victimised by some angry car drivers, and you really should have insurance should they prove you are to blame for the scratch on their precious limousine.

As the moped has less power than the classic motorbike, having a top speed of only 45mph for the 50cc models, their insurance is also more affordable to that of the classic motorbike. Prices of new motorbikes are far below the prices of cars, and you may find the solution of these financial troubles by selling your car and getting a motorbike to commute to work, you will feel like you have gotten a raise, and no more like a fool who burns ten litres of petrol per day just to get to work and back.
